Åsa Silfverberg - UGL Facilitator

Åsa Silfverberg

Åsa is from the southern part of Sweden called Skåne. She lives in beautiful Österlen in a large house where she together with her husband has an antique store where they work there is time and enjoyment. She studied behavioral science at the University of Lund followed by studies in marketing communication and leadership.

The latter is in connection with studies of digital media at the school Hyper Island. After finishing her studies she worked at a smaller company within the Vodafone companies, both as a project manager, director and other leadership positions. She has lived with tools inspired by UGL as a training concept since 1997.

Present work

After spending two great years as a project manager at Hyper Island Åsa today works within FLOOK, a network for development of concepts, organizations and businesses, both in Sweden and internationally.

Experience of teams and leadership outside of UGL

Åsa uses UGL as a tool of strategic character in her work as an executive and leader. This has given her fortunate experiences which makes her want to be part of effecting other companies and organizations circumstances to use these tools strategically.

This to increase the wellbeing and the quality which in turn leads to higher efficiency. This is something that Åsa has the opportunity to do as a consultant and that she really enjoys!

The motto of Åsa

Her foundation and view of people in her role as a consultant and leader is that "people are grand enough". She trusts peoples ability and is a fan of "help to self help"!

What would you have been doing if you had not been a facilitator for UGL trainings?

In that case I would have worked full time with antiques, travelling around the country to find beautiful jugend style vases...
